Update...
The unit gave us more information. It seems that we will be doing convoy ops in the desert next year.
A task I know a lot about...
We volunteered for those kinds of operations when I was in double deuce. Love it.
It was the only way we could get decent DVDs and food....
So my mind is a little at ease, but its for 9 months minimum in country, not as much money to be made as I thought.
Extention when we get there is always a big issue.
Things are finally falling into place, I also have another class on some "new" equipment for this upcomming Annual Training.
Yep, more time keeping ol Fields up and at em' in the classroom environment.
I need a couple of development clases before we go...f*ck FED Ex!
It seems that my paychecks are getting smaller and smaller anyway.
I have bonded with ol' airborne since my promotion. the cat has a lot of knowlege under his hat, plus he has a certain respect for me. I would of loved to have real NCO's like him backing me at the time of my departure from the regular army.
As for my vacation...well I spent most of it playing Resident Evil 4 and reading old manuals, getting in shape, and spending time with my mother and surprisingly my brother.
Annie wrote me on myspace, she's staying in germany with the trip to VA every once in a while. I just want her to focus on being a great mother to her son and put everything else second.
Fed Ex...
They're up to something.
Jason is now training two new people in his loads...
Im wondering why, and the answers arent looking too good for him.
Then there's Nina...
Who they also are trying hard to train new workers in her loads as well...
Promotion for Nina?
I was worried but now Im not. I just have to watch my step up until I come down on orders. Then there's nothing they can do to me...Untouchable!
Won't be job hunting when I get back if I play my cards right.
Plus ...a bigger resume!
