Middle of the week..really late!!
Ahh Monday I slept and relaxed, till time to take my bro to the Courtroom...
Thought it was going to be another in by 9 out by 10 morning.
He was still in the courtroom when I got through the weapons search and something didnt seem right so I went in and sat.
Just as I sat he was just being seen...the judge said something to him let the gavel hit the desk, AND THEY PUT HANDCUFFS ON MY BROTHER!!!
The Attorney pack his breifcase and started toward the exit!
Cut that sneeky someb*tch off in the hall out side the courtroom...
...he tells me the judge gave his probation case to another judge in another division...A STRICTER ONE!!!
When I asked why he said it was some change in the laws of the state on probation and that my bro had to spend some time in jail.
What a system!
Here we have people killing their wives over a divorce and not to mention the murder count in memphis was one of the highest in the country before the NYC New Years Ball was even down the pole good...
But send a 27 year old man to jail for a dime bag of green leaf!
Not my Bro and not on my watch!
Went to the Bondsman and posted bail A>S>A>P!
My sis did help the situation, I call her and let her know the basics of what happened...
The first thing I tell her is dont tell my mother anything!
Craig want to be the one to talk to her and explain what happened, the only thing I need from her is to get ready to sign some papers because two people have to sign for the Bailbond.
First she starts telling me,"I knew it, he failed a pisstest didn't he"?
So once I get her to get her mind off the things she should be concerned about I tell her I'm on my way to pick her up and we will go do da damn thang!
By the time it takes me to get from downtown Memphis to my house....she had called my mother anyway!
My mother in all her wisdom who was at work was talking to everybody she knew who "think" they know about the law and was talking to the store manager about BORROWING money for bail!!!
So I took the phone from my sis the "genius" and calmed my mother down...I had the situation under control.
She tried to get on me why me and my bro decide to leave her in the dark, like we had a dark secrect from her and were 12 and 13 years old.
I reminded her of her actions to that point:
1. Listened to a source that didnt have all the facts(my sister).
2. Involved people other than family (then she will wonder later on why she are cursing ou these same people next week about minding their business).
3. Told my brother's employers about his problems with the law.
All the "no-no's" of the Bonner Family.
I told her I got this and to stay out of it....
But my brother was out the same day....
And I still pulled off going to Smackdown/Raw at the FED EX Forum.
